AHCAP Conference Scholarship Program

Don't miss the chance to join your peers at this year's AHCAP conference in New Mexico.  If your hospital or health system is on a tight budget this year, consider taking advantage of the two $1,745 scholarships available to AHCAP members to help defray the cost of attending.  Time is running out, so don't delay - apply by March 20, 2009. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be an AHCAP member in good standing.
• Must not have attended an Annual Conference in two or more years.
• Current AHCAP board members and past conference scholarship award winners (since 2004) are not eligible to participate in the conference scholarship program.
• *Leadership Award:  This award is only available to past Board members and past or current committee members in recognition of their service to AHCAP.  Active participation and completion of two (2) years on AHCAP board and/or AHCAP committee is required.

 2009 cHAP Certification Scholarship Program

Be a part of an elite group of healthcare administrative assistants by becoming a Certified Healthcare Administrative Professional (cHAP).  If you are interested in taking the cHAP exam but your employer won't cover the expense, apply for one of two cHAP scholarships (up to $225 each) available. The application submission deadline is March 20, 2009.
Eligibility Criteria

• Must be an AHCAP member in good standing.
• A member may receive only one award, of any type, each year (including conference lotto awards).

AHCAP Award of Distinction - Call for Nominations

AHCAP values the contributions made by its members and would like to recognize those individuals whose accomplishments promote the advancement of professionalism in healthcare administrative support.
