I've been given the responsibility to oversee our Leadership, Governance and Young Executive Awards that we do annually for our Annual Meeting in October. Last year was my first year and they were doing it all via e-mail (complete nomination form, include nomination letter and submit up to five letters of support). I was so concerned that I was going to miss a nomination form or support letter among all my other e-mails. Then after collecting all the nominations for each of the three awards, I had to forward all the nomination forms/support letters to the committee to review. Again they use to do it all via attachments via e-mail. I did change this process and uploaded to our BoardEffect portal for the committee members to view. However, they still had to download the score sheet for each nominee and e-mail their responses back to me. There has to be a simpler way. Do you use a specific software or process to collect the nominations? How do you get the information to the committee for their review and to reply with their suggested winners? Any help you can provide would be great.
